Who is responsible for this website?
Akshet Patel operates akshetpatel.com as a personal portfolio. For privacy questions or requests, email akshetp.ap@gmail.com.
Information collected automatically
The website uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate traffic, page use and technical performance. These services may process device information, approximate location, browser details, interactions and identifiers such as cookies. The site requests IP anonymisation when configuring Google Analytics.
Messages and bookings
If you use the contact form, the details you submit are processed by Formspree so that Akshet can receive and reply to your message. If you book a call, Cal.com processes the booking information you choose to provide. Their own privacy terms also apply.
Hosting and public content
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the service. The LinkedIn Notes archive contains public post titles, dates, categories and links sourced from Akshet's published LinkedIn activity and Google Sheet.
Why information is used
Information is used to operate and secure the website, understand which content is useful, improve performance, respond to enquiries and arrange calls. Depending on the activity, processing is based on consent, legitimate interests or taking steps at your request.
Retention and sharing
Messages and booking details are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain relevant records or meet legal obligations. Data is shared with the service providers named above only where needed to provide their services. Those providers may process data outside the United Kingdom under their own safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can block or remove cookies through your browser settings. Depending on UK data protection law and your circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
